Digital visualization of blood samples in the Munich leukemia laboratory

Automated information displays visualize laboratory processes in real time and improve transparency, efficiency and information flow.

The challenge

Every day, laboratories are faced with the task of reliably recording, evaluating and transparently presenting large quantities of blood samples. Manual processes are time-consuming, error-prone and make it difficult to keep an up-to-date overview of ongoing operations.

Sample numbers also changed continuously at the Munich Leukemia Laboratory (MLL). The existing systems for displaying and monitoring laboratory samples were not flexible enough, offered only limited visualization options and no longer met the requirements for a modern, clear presentation of information. They were looking for a solution that visualizes sample numbers in real time, is easy to operate and at the same time provides a modern display.

The solution

A central platform — clear and up to date

With connectSignage, a digital solution for automated visualization of laboratory information was introduced at MLL. The number of blood samples taken is now shown on displays in real time and is clearly presented. The data is synchronized and automatically updated via CSV files using the CS uploader. This eliminates the need for manual entry and the information remains accurate and consistent across locations at all times. The modern presentation not only provides a better overview of everyday laboratory work, but also strengthens the professional image of the laboratory.

The result

A system. Up-to-date information.

Today, the Munich-based leukemia laboratory has a transparent and reliable real-time visualization of its laboratory processes. Employees receive an up-to-date overview of sample numbers at any time, without additional manual effort.

The result: more efficient processes, reduced sources of error and a modern presentation of information that supports everyday laboratory work and makes MLL's innovative strength visible.

  • Real-time visualization of blood sample numbers
  • Significantly reduced manual entry costs
  • Higher transparency in laboratory operations
